For just over 3 years now, the Liquid points reward program has been our way of giving back to our most loyal fans. Our fans are what make Liquid truly great, after all, and our hope is to always make it clear how grateful we are for them.
With that in mind, our all-new fan platform, MyBlue, is a huge step forward when it comes to thanking our fans. We’ve partnered with Sui to bring you a fan experience unlike any other, which includes competitive and collaborative challenges, exclusive rewards, and the ability to customize your very own version of Blue, our lovable mascot. Thanks to Sui’s cutting-edge Web3 technology (see the FAQ for more details), MyBlue will bring the fan experience to new heights and allow our fans to have a real sense of ownership over their Team Liquid fandom.
You might be wondering what this means for the Liquid points program — formerly known as Liquid+ — that already exists. Well, rest assured that the current quests and experiences system won’t be going anywhere once MyBlue launches in early access. For now, the two will be separate programs that coexist under the ‘Fandom’ tab on our navigation bar, so you’ll be able to keep earning Liquid points while also completing MyBlue quests and earning rewards there.
It’s a little confusing, we know, which is why we’ve put together this FAQ article to clarify what will or won’t be changing.

Can I use Liquid points in MyBlue?
No. Liquid points can only be used in the points shop.
Are there any plans to merge the two in the future?
Yes. We will definitely merge the two to create one holistic Liquid fan experience (no set date yet, but planning for Q4 2024). For now, however, while MyBlue is in early access, the two will be separate.
I already have a Team Liquid fan account to complete quests and earn points. Do I have to sign up for MyBlue to keep using it?
No. The two systems are separate and not dependent on each other; you can use them both at the same time if you wish, or just use one and not the other. You do, however, have to sign up for a Liquid account in order to request access to MyBlue.
Why are you keeping Liquid points around even after releasing MyBlue?
MyBlue is in early access, so we’d like to identify areas of improvement and hear feedback from fans before it impacts other parts of our fan offerings. Furthermore, the Liquid rewards program has plenty of loyal users who’ve been around for years, and we don’t want to abruptly close the door on them.
MyBlue is only for users who are 18 or older, but I’m not 18 and want to keep participating in Liquid’s fan platform. Can I?
Yes. While you won’t be able to join MyBlue, you can still participate in the Liquid quests and point system that already exists. When the two platforms merge, there will be an option to keep participating as well. You just won’t be able to take advantage of the MyBlue features until you’re 18.
I’m an OG Liquid+ user. Do I get priority for MyBlue early access?
Yes! Before we go wide, we will be notifying our current users on Discord and email. And don’t worry - we’ll be adding new users in waves, so even if you don’t get in right away, join the waiting list and you’ll be next in line for MyBlue.
