It’s the off-season for many of our esports, so you’re probably sitting at home and thinking to yourself, “man, I wish Team Liquid ran even more events.” (I know I am.) Well, you’re in luck, because your wish is about to come true! We’re thrilled to announce today that we’re officially going to be running a tournament series — and you’re invited to participate.

We’ll be running these tournaments on FACEIT, which is where we’ll also officially launch the Team Liquid Social Club. It’ll feature exclusive prizes, a leaderboard, monthly tournaments, and an improved anti-cheat system to make sure that all the competition is above board. Although, don’t worry — we’ll also be working to strike a balance between “competitive” and “fun”. If you want to support us directly, you can also subscribe to Team Liquid and gain perks like access to subscriber-only competitions, as well as customized badges and emotes.

Throughout the year, we’ll be running multiple events on FACEIT, and our first presenting partner for these tournaments will be Secretlab. We’re so excited to work closely with them on this new endeavor. With Secretlab we’ll be able to create an inclusive space where fans can sharpen their skills, win prizes, and meet like-minded Liquid fans who love the same games that they love. Secretlab has always been dedicated to providing fans with the best equipment possible to facilitate their path to pro, or even just a long gaming session, and through these tournaments even more fans will get the opportunity to make use of that equipment.

Our first tournament will take place on November 16, and will be a single-elimination tournament with a $500 prize pool. 32 Counter-Strike 2 teams will compete in a series of best-of-1 matches — until the best-of-3 finals — for a chance to win some cash and some exclusive rewards both in and out of game!
