Oftentimes, when it comes to what it is that people working in esports orgs actually do, esports fans are sort of in the dark. So, whenever possible, it's important for us to be totally transparent about what it actually means to work in esports.

Here at Team Liquid, we take our work very seriously — but the truth is that none of it would be possible without some of the most crucial and unsung heroes of the Liquid ecosystem. Finally, though, we're showcasing them here: the cats of Team Liquid.

These friendly felines are vital to our whole operation. They do a lot to help make our org great, and definitely don’t just sit around all day sleeping and not paying rent. To celebrate them, we've decided to dedicate a whole entire article to them.

Well, more than just an article. The Ancient Egyptians immortalized cats with ceramics, amulets, art, cemeteries, and massive statues. We sought to immortalize our cats, but giant statues are played out. (And apparently out of our budget.) We may not have a Sphinx, but we have a close second: trading cards. We made a little TCG-style deck of the weird little guys who power our organization. Cats of Liquid is coming soon to a game store near you! ^{(But not really. We can't actually do that.)}
