At Team Liquid, we choose to do the right thing, even when it isn't easy. This Code of Conduct protects competitive integrity, honors the trust our community places in us, and ensures our pursuit of excellence never compromises our principles. All Team Liquid personnel are expected to uphold both the letter and spirit of these rules, recognizing that integrity requires judgment guided by our core values.
Team Liquid personnel must comply with game publisher and tournament organizer codes of conduct in addition to this Code. Where publishers or tournament organizers have no policy, ESIC standards apply. This Code establishes minimum standards in all cases.
Personnel may not use unauthorized software or hardware, collude to manipulate match outcomes, or use prohibited performance-enhancing substances. Where a publisher or tournament organizer has established policies on bugs or exploits, those policies govern; otherwise, all bugs must be reported immediately to team management and game publishers.
Personnel are prohibited from betting on:
This includes proxy betting through third parties. Personnel may not participate in fantasy esports leagues or prediction markets involving Team Liquid titles unless explicitly permitted by the organization, relevant tournament organizer or publisher.
Personnel may not use or share specific non-public information with the capacity to influence betting markets, compromise Team Liquid's competitive position, or violate confidentiality obligations. Normal competitive preparation and general commentary do not violate this standard.
Team Liquid is committed to creating communities where everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Personnel must not engage in hate speech, discrimination, harassment, bullying, or any offensive behavior targeting individuals based on protected characteristics. All individuals must be treated with respect, dignity, and courtesy. Abusive, disruptive, or unsportsmanlike behavior - including impairment or intoxication while representing Team Liquid - is prohibited.
Team Liquid maintains independent authority to enforce this Code. Violations result in disciplinary action proportionate to severity, including warnings, fines, suspensions, or contract termination. All monetary fines are donated to charity.
Personnel facing allegations receive notification, opportunity to respond, and access to an appeals process. Team Liquid will provide code of conduct training at onboarding and make refresher training available regularly.
Team Liquid personnel must cooperate fully with integrity investigations and immediately report any attempts to compromise competitive integrity, including approaches related to match-fixing, bribery, or cheating.
